This is one of the pages from The Mysteries of Harris Burdick by Chris Van Allsburg. It's a wonderful book! It has inspired students to use their imaginations since it was published in 1984. My students looked forward to writing activities with this book. Tell the students the background story about the mysterious Harris Burdick.
